Alternative building methods intend to minimize the environmental footprint with due considerations for the comfort, esthetics, wellbeing and accommodating ever evolving demands in an incremental way. These alternative building methods integrate finite resources, natural environment, land and people for achieving mutually beneficial synergies.
Although we had constraints to execute alternative construction technique, we attempted to work out a method to design and build the filler slab with the immense support of our beloved client Dr.Chethan and Dr.Hema, backing from Samvad Design Studio ( @samvaddesignstudio ), expert guidance of Ravindranath Bontadaka Sir from R&A - Ravindranath Associates, the impeccable supervision of it by Mr. Vageesh (trained in alternative construction methods) and finally making it realise onsite by the project engineer Naveen J ( @naveen.jj ) and admirable execution by the project contractor who is trained in conventional construction.
